Opinions, take them however you want

Just some thoughts from a wandering mind.

• If one spends a day at the race track, he or she might discover they’re in the 21st Century version of Ellis Island. At the track, one will see a hodgepodge of people: young, old, male, female, adults, kids, with no nationality left out.
• The older I get, the more I appreciate baseball. Why, because you can still root for a team without living and dying with every win or loss.
• People like to wax nostalgic about the “Good Old Days,” but I think when it comes to television programming, for the most part, they are right. Even the shows that would considered stupid or campy required some level of intelligence to write, direct and produce them. Unfortunately, reality television is so inexpensive to produce, we’re probably going to be stuck with it for a while.
